Our student body comprises a mix of vibrant cultural and academic backgrounds.
The students of 2023-24 intakes from a good balance of diversity. About half of the class has obtained their first degree from Chinese Mainland (44%) while the rest of the class gained their first degree from Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other parts of Asia Pacific.
More than half of the students of HKUST MSGO program have business backgrounds while the others are from statistical study, supply chain and logistics management and other major studies which gives a good balance of the class.

This blend of regional backgrounds creates a globalized learning environment, bringing together various academic perspectives and cultural insights.

The class is further balanced by students who graduated from universities in Australia, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR. Additionally, the cohort includes representation from other global regions, with students holding degrees from France, Japan, Singapore, and Switzerland, providing a well-rounded mix of perspectives to the program.
