Students can opt for the double degree option at the time of applying for HKUST MSc Programs and the programs of partner institutions. This option allows the ambitious students to earn two prestigious master’s degrees from HKUST and our renowned partner institution.

The HKUST Business School have established a double degree partnership with the following institutions:

Yale School of Management​

Master’s Degree in Global Business & Society ​

The Master of Management Studies in Global Business and Society (GBS) provides you with tools needed to thrive in global organizations and the broad perspective to know how best to use them. Open to students in master in management programs at top business schools around the world, including those in the Global Network for Advanced Management, the GBS program draws on all the resources at Yale University.​

Additional admission requirements for Yale MMS program​

  • Fulfill HKUST MSGO degree requirements with satisfactory academic performance​
  • Course Study: complete one course related to Strategy Management​
  • Work Experience: have full-time work or internship experience for at least 12 weeks in the same organization, at a professional level (first job level of a graduate recruit)​
  • Achieve a satisfactory GMAT/GRE score​

Tuition Fees and Expense​

  • The tuition fee for HKUST MSGO program of 2026/27 intake is HKD 340,000.​
  • Travelling and living expenses are not included in the tuition fee.​

Program Structure

Successful students being admitted to both universities will spend the 1st academic year at home university and the 2nd academic year at partner institution.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships​

Students are required to settle the program fees to partner institution and HKUST in respective years at where they stay. Scholarships or financial aids, if any, are also independently allocated by respective schools.​
