I had a very enriching year in HKUST MSGO program, both academically and personally. The focus on practical projects allowed us to experience and address challenges that would likely encounter in our career. With an emphasis on collaboration among the diverse student body, we learned to work well in a team with members of different backgrounds. This also led to a great community among students. As the class representative, we could organize many activities, included coming together for Christmas and Chinese New Year, doing sports regularly and meeting for other activities around Hong Kong. My classmates were amazing throughout the year. Whether it was in group projects or in joint activities, it was always a pleasure to spend time together.

The unique and unforgettable learning experience in the HKUST MSGO program has equipped me with proficient knowledge in business management, which further cultivated my potential to be a professional operations manager. Through the HKUST MSGO program, I gained the chance to mingle and establish connections with students from different cultural backgrounds; we had insightful discussion on various topics and brainstormed new business solutions under professors’ guidance. I am also grateful for the support provided by the MSc Career Team; the resume workshops and interview guiding sessions have helped me land my current position at Dell Technologies. Thanks to the colorful MSGO life, I am now fully prepared for the coming challenges ahead.
